Liposuction Procedure Reviews

Liposuction is among the most popular ways to remove fat from different parts of the human body. For better treatment of the patients, a consultation with the surgeon is a must. The patient and the doctor decide the sites, in which the fat will be removed from, the desired result from the operation and the health recovery after all. The possible side effects from liposuction could be greater and it depends on the amount of the removed fat. If the amount is bigger, the health risks for the patient are higher. For example, if one patient wants to remove 40 pounds of fat, the weight loss will be greater than the amount of fat that was removed.
The operation is conducted by three main types of anesthesia- local, regional or general. In order to exclude dangerous side effects for the patients` health, it`s not appropriate to have smoked for several months before the operation. It`s recommended, also, the patients to be as fit before the procedure as they are after.
Generally, the liposuction operation is made by two tools, called cannula and aspirator. The cannula is a hollow tube, with its help the fat is removed from the body. The aspirator is a suction device. There are near a dozen types of liposuction, depending on the amount of fluid injection and by the mechanism of cannula.

The most common type of liposuction is the suction-assisted one. During the procedure a small cannula, a straw-like is attached to a small device. The operating surgeon pushes and pulls the cannula, breaking the fat cells and removing them with the suction device.
Another popular type of the operation is the ultrasonic- assisted liposuction. It can work on more sites of the human body, such as upper back or even the male breast area.
